Electric Flowers

from Traces of Humanity by Andrea Baroni

Strange flowers sprout from the ground. In our days we have never been able to replace the life that we killed. But life on Earth seems to go on, in some way, changing the structure of life itself.

Dreams in the night to
Fulfill bro|ken hours
Time eating time
All that grows are Electric Flowers

Faint wisp of light in
The land of the waste and wi|re
Life hiding life
All that grows are Electric Flowers

To share with all the void
And no
Replacing life with nothing

Time will heal the damage
Can you do the same?

Not the same for you

We are deranged
