In the Hours of Darkness

from Traces of Humanity by Andrea Baroni

/

about

The day we passed the “borderline”, when there were really no more resources and energies to let us continue with our current lifestyle, humanity literally entered a “dark age”, where we started to loose control, and everything started to flake off. A sort of requiem of what our lives have been until then.

lyrics

They had suffered
For all our mistakes
And who may know
If it's not too late
To change this world
Who may know

Now the lights have gone
A black curtain falls
And the earth lies in silence
As it was before

We lost control
In the hours of darkness
We sealed this world
in our hearts of darkness

Please hold my hand
In this hour of darkness
A world that falls
In the hours of darkness

We will never
Ever be afraid
We have been hardened
We are stronger

We will never
Ever fall again
We have been tested
We are forever

We will never
Ever be afraid
When the night
Has begun...
